We frankly had reservations when we sold our first pair of Horse-Mocs. Our product was to be worn by a 1,200 pound animal as it traveled over a variety of terrain and under the control of a stranger. The story had a happy ending and we hope yours will as well. We ask you to consider the following before committing your order.
Horse-Mocs are built with hoof comfort as the primary goal.
Terrain, speed, and slope will affect the longevity of your Horse-Mocs.
Barefoot hooves will change shape. Your horse may simply outgrow your Horse-Mocs.
The accuracy of your measurements and tracings is very important. A bad tracing will result in an ill-fitting Horse-Moc that will wear out more quickly.
Don't under estimate the powerful impact and stresses your horse can generate. They can (and do) deform and destroy metal shoes every day.
Horse-Mocs are not flimsy. They are made from the finest materials we can find. They are intended for moderate use. Other uses are at your own risk.
We warranty each Horse-Moc for thirty days against defects in materials and workmanship. Please contact us immediately with any concerns.
First, we'll need to talk to you. Phone us right away and tell us what's wrong. We'll do our best to work out a solution. We may ask you to give us a new set of tracings and measurements and to return the first Horse-Moc(s) to us prepaid. If this is the case, we'll make you a new Horse-Moc(s) and ship them to you at no charge.
No horse shoe or boot will last forever. We don't warranty Horse-Mocs against normal wear and tear, abuse, or riding mishaps. We aren't liable for any injuries or damage to you, your horse, or property. Choosing to work with horses is to accept inherent risks.
Use common sense and reasonable care and your Horse-Mocs will provide many miles of yeoman service.
We don't cover loss in shipping. We use a very good shipping service here in our village. To date, we've never had anything go missing. If you want the peace of mind that insured shipping might bring, we can oblige but you will be charged the additional fee. Because shipping rates have been changing practically every day, please contact us for an accurate shipping quote. (Note to international customers: Tariffs will be affected by the declared value of an insured parcel.)
